As I sat taking in the warm sun on a spring day

I see the prettiest of sites before me. It is a moma bear and her cubs. They are so cute. I realized watching them that the moma bear is a lot like me when it comes to my kids. To watch her scold them, I laugh to myself at how formular it looked. Moma is having no part of it. She chases them around the field. Then just as it is getting to be noon, moma bear settles down to take a nap, her cubs cuddle up close to her, so tired from there stunts. The picture before me is that of a thousand words. I smile looking at the loving closeness that they have. Even in the wild, family is the most important thing. To watch a moma bear nurture her young is so much like a mother with her child.
